Thrissur is set to host a sci-fi adventure play for children and families titled The Kid Who Came from Space. The production is adapted from British author Ross Welford’s novel of the same name and is directed by Vishnu Prasad.
The play is presented by Navarang Palakkad and produced by Gokulam Gopalan. According to the event details, the story follows Malu, who is taken to Anthalla, a distant planet where emotions are not allowed. Her twin brother Chandhu believes she is still alive and begins a journey to bring her back.
The story also introduces Hellyann, a young alien who is different from others on her planet because she is able to feel. Along with Chandhu, Iggy and Suzy the chicken, the characters move through a story built around friendship, courage, hope and coexistence.
